SisterzOn Bridges
shows how to build an "Elementary Level" balsa wood bridge. This
particular bridge won 1st place at
California Region 11 and
California State competitions. It also won 3rd place at
the "Destination
Imagination" Global bridge building competition in Knoxville,
Tennessee in May 2005. It is
especially useful to kids who want to understand the process of
building balsa wood structures. Sabrina was not on the team, but
analyzed the physics
behind the bridge after the contest.
